OMG!  This PC game was AWESOME!  The puzzles weren't too challenging on any level but the story had me so excited to keep playing and help our hero Jim.

Jim had a wife named Alice who was injured during a carnival stunt (no spoilers) and he feels guilty so he conspire with an evil dude to bring her back.

You're there to stop Jim, bring back a kidnapped victim and help him all at the same time as you travel through realms of the carnival settings.

Make sure you get the Bonus Edition of the game because the ending will make your Heart swell with Happiness.

Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden

4.5 out of 5 Stars

Category: PC Games
Genre:  Paranormal Adventure, Hide and Seek, Puzzles
Console: PC Games

You have to really sci-fi to enjoy this game.

There are creatures trying to take over the human race urge for freedom.

You must stop them, save the ones infected and escape your underground prison.

You begin the adventure seeking your beloved Robert who was lost in sea and it continues the puzzles (which are easy for the most part) and traveling to good graphic scenes.

There is a bonus version that takes you back a step on the storyline.

This Cinderella type game has the most amazing graphs I've seen in a long time.  Plus the variety of so many characters from transforming Prince's into lions, snow beasts to even the fairies.

The end battle was a nice light show and the very end is a little to Disneyland-ish, but the adventure in between - if you keep with the memory of where you last saw items - is amazing.  If you ever get lost in a simple story and off track with all the creatures there is a HINT button available.

Also if you want to take photos for a photo album that isn't down loadable when you see the icon for camera you take to literally take the camera out of inventory to use it.   If I didn't bypass the tutorial I might have known that sooner.

This game came in a 5 pack.

New York Mysteries: High Voltage

You're a witness to prison execution where the damn disappeared into the electric line to escape.

The story unfolds sharing how his dear old Dad with the help of experiments done by Nikola Tesla helps send a convicted man free to go seek revenge on the ones who placed him on death row in the first place.
You play Laura a woman investigating who and how these murders are happening.
The best way to play is use the map to flash to location to location to perform tasks.
This PC game is more set up like a real movie and recommend it for those seeking adventure and excitement.

Lost Souls - Timeless Fables

Oh No!  Your brother - perhaps a twin - has gone missing after playing with mystic items.  Now you must solve 5 mini games to gather pieces to bring your brother back.

First of all the classics of  Call of Cthulhu, Robinson Crusoe, The Three Musketeers, Jack the Ripper and Titanic are all books that should be read or seen movie versions of them.

Second, you only need 4 of the 5 books , which order you don't get to choose, need to be done to have the brother returned.  He returns with a simple hug and no words.  Sometimes its all one needs with Family, but in a video game - maybe a few words would be nice.

Thirdly, so if you want to finish the last book, which is Titanic the ending is not the same as the movie - in this one - Jack and Rose survives.  Ahhhhhh!

Lastly, overall aside from having the notices 'there is nothing to do in this area' button showing up under HINTS and not being told another location has been opened until you get that message.  The puzzles are semi-easy if your a regular player of games with puzzles it should be easy to complete.

Fairly Twisted Tales - Price of a Rose

4 of 5 Stars

Category: PC Games
Genre:  Paranormal Adventure, Hide and Seek, Puzzles

Remember the movie 'Beauty and the Beast'?  This is the game version of it, but slim version where you are mostly trying to visit other locations.

The map is easy to move location to location, but finding out a location on what to do next event isn't listed.  The puzzles are pretty common, but the ending gets messy when you can leave the final scene to get the other items you need to complete it.  What villain would let you leave and come back to defeat them?
