Vacationing in Greece with a female Friend and while visiting some ruins an old board game that is hidden is found.

It's the Jumanji twist of where you're sucked into the game and the only way to get out is to find your Friend and make it to the end of the game.

You have to avoid the crazy man inside who is planning to murder you (and your Friend) so the essence can be transferred into his sick son.

You see the "villain" was desperate to help his sick son by bring them both into the game to shield him from Death.  It didn't stop the sons pain, but it kept him alive until the next victims come into the game.

You meet trolls, elves and dragons along your way.

Interesting Story, Graphics and a lot of interactive to keep you continue to play.

In the main storyline you're following the off brand of Snow White where you play 2 characters trying to stop the Evil Queen.

In the additional game you play trying to save your brother from an Evil King, which has a nice simple twist at the end that sets up nicely the main story.

The puzzles have semi-challenges to complete and the visuals are AMAZING.

Echoes of Sorrow

When you land yourself into a coma you have plenty time to think and reflect on your life.

You play Rose who ends up doing just that for four aspects of her life.

Her childhood, where she losing her Twin in an accident; her college years where her boyfriend is murdered; prison where a man who claims his innocence is convicted; and Church where your dead Father's ghost resigns until all the Truth is revealed.

The ending is quick and when the "villain" and Truth is revealed you'd expect them to do more than just wait for the police to arrive.

You can knock out all puzzles in a days time.

Good concept for a story game, but if they added perhaps even voice to the game it would be slightly more interesting.

The Myth Seekers - The Legacy of Vulcan

You play as Amelia who is in a "secret society" (and expert on Roman mythology) whose task is to recover Vulcan's hammer.

You know the guy who used his Hammer and set off a chain of events released the volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii -- or did he?

Juno, Queen of the Gods says Venus can be Vulcan's wife, but she's in love with God of War Mars and then there some revenge and some imprisonment and quite an interesting story thread.

We travel to Italy to interact with several of these ancient Gods of the past to uncover the truth.

We use the several items to create the Thunderbolt to put things right from once it was wrong.

Bellona, Mars only Sister plays a role in this story, but how?

It is a long download, but so worth the time as you're immersed into the game.

Kingmaker: Rise to the Throne - Collectors Edition

You know those times when Royals don't follow the rules and run off and marry a commoner and in anger the Dad, the KIng sends you off to war (where you die) at the same time chases off your preggo wife off to give birth losing her life in the process to bring the new heir Prince to life?

Yea - that's the story.

Now when you and your Brother is set up as murders of the King of the Kingdom of Griffinvale - you get to prove your innocence.

The main puzzles are connect the lines without crossing over the same line for the "battle scenes."

Enjoyed the new Puzzle Concept and the story and the animation was nice, but the ending kind of fizzles out with the "Collectors Edition" second story.

Basic puzzles and interesting story.

Mystery Tales: The Reel Horror - Collector's Edition

Poor Harold, a man on the police force, is convinced his sister Maya and her fellow building restorers are in danger and trapped in an abandoned movie theatre.

So we must bring in the best Paranormal Detective, that would be you by the way, to find out what is going on.

When does one cross the line?  Well, in Sebastian's story its when he wanted realism so bad that he would kill off the cast of his movies.

Sebastian feeds off others fears so he may return to the real world to create the best horror film of all time.

We have Gorilla's, Fire Jugglers, Hellhounds, Possessions, and even ghosts calling through a cell phone.

And in the BONUS:  What happens when he returns?  


Will there be a final curtain for this maddman?  Or will there be a trilogy in this games plan?

***The only Semi-Con in this game is it seems to go on forever with yet another room or location to investigate, but your paying for a game to get your money worth and I didn't mind overall when the story is this Wonderful.

Enchanted Kingdom: Fog of Rivershire Collectors Edition

You will come up to a chapter where the HINT message will tell you "there's nothing to do here" 

There is if the Spool of Thread didn't disappear so you can advance with the story.

I remember collecting it -- but not in inventory to help sew up the rubber to the smoker to scare off the bees.

Sad because I was really into the story and it was about Chapter 2 early in the story it all feel apart.

Why else would a crazy villain want to do when he breaks out of prison, but want to control the World!

Suddenly cataclysmic events across the world coincide with your brother’s Simon disappearance and your called in to investigate.

Well, Dietrich (in photo) wants to destroy the secret society known as the Seekers for putting him IN prison and control the ability to travel through various worlds so he will never be caught again.

Oh!  And he's got your brother Simon hypnotized to do his bidding as a SEEKER can do things -- that criminals can't.

The puzzles are standard, where only one gave me a moment to work, but its the story of you wanting to chase down the guy who is trying to destroy the already established worlds and the AMAZING graphics and art style.  

This is one of collections that deals with SEEKERS and each it just as exciting as the next.

Each puzzle has an info button and a easy/hard mode to solve.

Collect them all.

Enchanted Kingdom: A Strangers Venom

When your mom is falsely accused of being a Witch and practicing the Dark Arts like your Grandma and she's taken away from the passion of the theatre right in front of your eyes - you might have issues.

Little Amber seeks revenge and using every magic item at her disposal, which includes her own where her tears transform into deadly crystals.

You're the "Honored Healer" who must try to save those she had infected and prevent her from finding the Heart and Lily which where at one time a combo of one powerful sphere that would easily do her evil bidding.

Even bring back the dead to ruin the Kingdom.

You get to try to stop her and if you don't - it will be Game Over.

Plus side:  Tons of challenging puzzles and Amazing graphics.

Minus side:  The ending just Ends.  And the Bonus scene is almost a "sorry the ending of the main game happened" feel.  Also halfway chasing Amber throughout the game you are determined to catch her, but you get the feeling of wanting to whoop her butt for doing this in the first place once you do catch her. LOL

Don't you just love it when someone feels like the World owes them everything while they did nothing to add to it?

When one man's father falls into the traps of gambling and losing everything in the Family fortune his son picks the path of the lazy person shortcut.

Finding some magic brushes, which can create in the real World, he tracks down two old Friends for cash.   He transforms their lovely brides into creatures to help them get the money faster.

You must play a duel role of Nigel and Sylvia to stop this madman.

In the Collectors Edition there is a Bonus Chapter where you play the witch's mother first mentioning the brushes.  

Brushes that are stolen and you must track down the man who stole them.

The loading time is long, but the graphics are so worth it.  

Love the images, the story and all the extras.

Dark Romance - Kingdom of Death

SKIP THIS GAME

It took nearly an hour to download.

I have been enjoying solving the puzzles, until you get to talk to Merope and there is no clickable item for you to "talk" to her with.  The HINT tells you - talk to her (the only person in the room) yet you can't.

At the time of writing this - there are others having the same issues and NO PATCH to fix.

The only positive thing I have to say is the graphics were incredible for as much as I did see.

Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy

3.5 out or 5 Stars

So you think you know everything about Poe do you?  Well, learn a few new facts about the legendary writer you may not know.

You should spend no more than 2 days on this game.

The artistic style to detail outshines the fact that some hide and seek items are hard to find.  Not to many, but nearly one item per room.

You don't need full knowledge of the writer, but it would help with some of the inside info as the game comes towards the end.

The last puzzle is not a Spelling as much as the Color Matching game.

If you played this game over an hour to solve all the obvious clues then you played on the easiest mode there was to be played.

It was clear who was the masked man pretending to be "The Lost Miner" who has come back for revenge on the town that left him to die all those years ago.

You're constantly bouncing from one are to another and able to click on basically everything to find the hidden items.  The puzzles were easy to fair to be solved.

It was a game which came into a 5 pack special and the ending was so boring and generic that I don't know what happened to making an effort into endings anymore.

Mystery Tales: The Hangman Returns Collector's Edition

You're back at it again detective.  A police investigator in a nearby town is so confused on how so many people are committing suicide all in the connection to the same publishing house and likely the same novel.

And it might also be connected that the novel is about a serial killer.

There is also a BONUS game that is face paced in the Collectors Edition, yet based on a seperate story of a woman who deserves whatever bad is coming to her - yet the same graphic and fresh story as the original.

You will need your wacky ghost/flashback seeing glasses on this case too.

The difference, except for the storylines of this and the prior reviews is this game gives you an option of making the puzzles Hard or Easy.  Don't feel bad if you choose Easy if you get stumped.

Mystery Tales: Her Own Eyes Collector's Edition

Congrats!  Thanks to someone's untimely death you have new eyes.  But with the eyes - you also receive the ability to see ghosts.

Your first ghost is of the woman whose eyes you inherited.  She was murdered and she needs your help to investigate.

You get tons of extras, such as, wallpapers, music, concept art, photos of other dead women, achievements and even a BONUS game with this edition.

You really should finish this game within 2 days and a lot of detail imagery.

At a wedding expo there was a murder and Shawn and Gus are involved in solving it.  You can enjoy it more with voices attached to it.

You can play easy, casual or expert.

The story pushes along quickly and there is only one moment in the game that got me confused is when you leave the car and they keep sending me back to the car under HINTS.

You just need to walk away from the car a scene before asking HINTS to find out where to go.

Shadow Shelter

In this 2013 game Shadow Shelter your investigating a missing heir to an estate.

Here is all you need to know:

1.  Use the map when available.

2.  When you get to the scene above - use the weapons on the stuffed creatures that are stuffed not on the one attacking you.

3.  When faced the ending - grab the blue boxes around the creature.

4.  Before you go to the basement use the thistle into the medallion in the room with the big plant and boiled pot.

Also there is a lot of popping from room to room over story. 

However, the ending was cheesy and neat at the same time.

Vampireville

This game is the story of a man who is off to a castle Malgray to get an assessment before the sale.

We learn this particular castle has ghosts and vampires and the heir that could inherit the place right from under the company.

There is a lot of point and click as well as lot of chat with sound.

The "twist" you thought isn't the one you get at the end.

You should play this one game within a day.

P.S. Have fun not thinking the main character is a Keanu Reeves look-alike.

League of Light: Silent Mountain

You're a Detective in the organization of League of Light and you're off to find the head leader daughter Louise (photo above) who has stolen the stone gauntlet.  She is in search of her boyfriend Roland.

You're chasing her and solving puzzles along the way.  

We find out whey Louise's father lied to his daughter saying her boyfriend is dead instead of the truth.

The puzzles and game is simple, but enjoyable.

PS:  The voice used as Louise is the same lady who did the voice of Nancy Drew.
