Lost Souls - Timeless Fables

4 out of 5 Stars

Category: PC Games
Genre:  Paranormal Adventure, Hide and Seek, Puzzles
Console: PC Games

Oh No!  Your brother - perhaps a twin - has gone missing after playing with mystic items.  Now you must solve 5 mini games to gather pieces to bring your brother back.

First of all the classics of  Call of Cthulhu, Robinson Crusoe, The Three Musketeers, Jack the Ripper and Titanic are all books that should be read or seen movie versions of them.

Second, you only need 4 of the 5 books , which order you don't get to choose, need to be done to have the brother returned.  He returns with a simple hug and no words.  Sometimes its all one needs with Family, but in a video game - maybe a few words would be nice.

Thirdly, so if you want to finish the last book, which is Titanic the ending is not the same as the movie - in this one - Jack and Rose survives.  Ahhhhhh!

Lastly, overall aside from having the notices 'there is nothing to do in this area' button showing up under HINTS and not being told another location has been opened until you get that message.  The puzzles are semi-easy if your a regular player of games with puzzles it should be easy to complete.

Fairly Twisted Tales - Price of a Rose

4 of 5 Stars

Remember the movie 'Beauty and the Beast'?  This is the game version of it, but slim version where you are mostly trying to visit other locations.

The map is easy to move location to location, but finding out a location on what to do next event isn't listed.  The puzzles are pretty common, but the ending gets messy when you can leave the final scene to get the other items you need to complete it.  What villain would let you leave and come back to defeat them?
